On May 11, the Delaware County Republican Central Committee voted in a majority to name acting Sheriff Jeffrey Balzer, the County’s 42nd Sheriff. Balzer will complete the vacated term ending January 5, 2025.

On May 10, the Republican General Assembly unanimously voted to appoint Brian Lorenz (Powell, OH) to the State Representative seat (HD60) recently vacated by the unexpected passing of Kris Jordan.

DCRP Central Committee to hold a special meeting to vote on recommendation to fill the 60th House District vacancy on April 13 at 7:00 pm at Northgate Church in Sunbury.
