YOUR PRIVACY MATTERSPrivacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

The Delaware County Republican Party ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through delawaregop.org (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you sign up for our email list, register for an event, volunteer, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any message or details you choose to include.
• Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the website that referred you. It may use cookies or similar technologies to do this.

How we use your information

• To send you party news, event invitations, and volunteer opportunities
• To process event registrations and volunteer sign-ups
• To respond to your questions and messages
• To understand and improve how the Site is used
• To meet legal and reporting requirements

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site and our communications, and only as needed for those services:

• Mailchimp, which we use to send email and manage our email list. Mailchimp's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Google Analytics, which provides Site usage statistics. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Form and event registration tools we use to collect sign-ups.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or when needed to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Text messaging

If you opt in to receive texts from us, we collect your mobile number and the date and method of your consent. We use them only to send the messages you signed up for and to respond to you. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share it with the messaging platforms and carriers that deliver our texts, and as required by law. See our Terms of Use for how to opt out.

Cookies

The Site itself does not use cookies to track you across other websites. Google Analytics may set cookies to measure Site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may then work differently.

Email choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Use it at any time to stop receiving our emails, or write to us at the address below and we will remove you.

Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites, including donation and social media pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Security and retention

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
