Volunteers help the Executive Committee members to send invitations, postcards, plan, coordinate, site set up and hosting of a events such as speaking events or fairs.
Special events occur throughout the year but all are planned well in advance.
Volunteer time is based on the assigned tasks and time required would be contingent on the actual task. It most likely will require effort the week leading up to the event, during the event or afterwards.
As part of a team, you’d help get the word out about the Republican Party and its candidates.
Support is usually needed before the Primary (May) and the General Election (November). Weekends are normally targeted.
You can expect to spend 2 to 4 hours to canvassing your neighborhood or neighborhoods near you. Will involve some walking.
Help in the distribution, delivery and placement of yard signs for the party and candidates.

As part of a team, you can expect to spend 2 to 4 hours getting signs to their required locations. Some light lifting and walking is required. Use of your vehicle may also be needed.
Be part of a phone bank calling potential voters about candidates for the primary and general election.

As part of a team, you’d help establish a republican presence and distribute candidate information near polling locations particularly early voting locations.

As part of a team, you can expect to spend approximately 2-3 hours outside of an assigned polling location.
Open your home or place of work to meet a candidate or officeholder within the Republican party. Working with the Executive Committee Lead and their team you’ll need to help, plan and host the event.
Meet and Greets can occur any time of the year and scheduled based on availability of the candidate or officeholder.
Meet and Greet usually last 2 to 4 hours. Direct expenses for the Meet and Greet, if any, will be provided by the Party.
Open your home, place of work or other location to host a fundraiser for the Republican party. Working with the Executive Committee Lead and their team for Fundraising you’ll need to help, plan and host the fundraiser.
Fundraisers can occur any time of the year so alignment with your schedule and the Party’s is needed. Fundraisers can be scheduled for any day of the week and usually last 1.5 to 2 hours of hosting.
Fundraisers usually last a total of four hours (set-up, event time, tear down/clean-up). Time commitment should also include planning that is required to make the event a success. That includes: creating a guest list, drafting an invite, sending (via traditional mail or e-vite) invitation, and follow-up calls, emails, texts, etc. That time will depend on the size of the crowd.
Work with the Executive Committee Lead and Host to help, plan and conduct the fundraiser.
Fundraisers can occur any time of the year and can be scheduled for any day of the week.
Assisting at fundraisers may require 2 to 4 hours.
Volunteering may request you participate at Party events and major events such as Fairs as well as “Walk & Knock” events.

You can expect to spend 3-4 hours to canvassing your neighborhood or neighborhoods near you. Will involving walking and knocking on the doors of individual households.
Data entry can vary from entering voter data to helping in its analysis. Work can be done from your home or at the Party headquarters depending upon the tasks. Knowledge of spreadsheets is helpful.
Data entry and analysis work can occur anytime during the year and their duration of the tasks will vary based on the need.
Volunteer time is based on the assigned tasks and is focused on completing the needed analysis.
Working with the Party Secretary and Headquarters volunteers, you will assist in the collection of office supplies. You may be asked to help restock and/or organize supplies at Headquarters. Driving will be required.
Collection times are flexible and will include weekdays and/or weekends.
Volunteers may expect to spend between 1-3 hours per shift depending on specific tasks.
Working with Party Secretary and/or other Volunteers, you will assist voters when they come to Party Headquarters. You will answer questions and pass out election and Party-related literature.
Volunteers are typically needed leading up to the Primary (May) and the General Election (November). Volunteers may be asked to staff Headquarters at other times of the year as needed.
Shifts lengths will vary but usually last between 2-4 hours. We are happy to accommodate shorter shift lengths if needed.
This work is dependent upon the changing needs of the Communications Committee and your experience. Examples of activities include: assisting with social media campaigns, help with mailers, research, writing, analyzing metrics, coordinating with various campaigns and clubs, etc.
